Project Description:
Not every backyard starts with the perfect setting. For this project, designed by CREATIVEscapes and built by OOAK Homes, the challenge was clear: transform a completely flat lot into a dynamic outdoor living space with depth, texture, and architectural interest.
At the center of the design is a gunite pool paired with a spa, elevated partially out of the ground to create a multi-level experience. The spa features three striking scupper water features, perfectly aligned with three bold black inlays that stretch across the pool deck—an intentional detail that draws the eye and ties the design together.
The surrounding porcelain pavers and caps add a clean, sophisticated finish, while vertical walls set at a 45-degree angle with porcelain create a unique and unexpected detail that elevates the space. To balance hardscape with warmth, raised planter beds soften the lines and bring natural texture to the design.
Anchoring the outdoor living experience is a gas fire pit for evening gatherings and a fully equipped outdoor grill island, making this backyard not just beautiful but also functional for entertaining. By raising the pool and incorporating different levels, the once-flat space now feels layered, dynamic, and full of interest.
